Professors of Swing

Adrian Cunningham, a New York based musician originally hailing from Australia, is one of his home country's best jazz exports. With fluent command of the saxophone, clarinet, and flute, he is one of the finest multi-instrumentalists in Jazz.

Since relocating to New York City in 2008, he has performed at some of the Big Apple's finest clubs - Blue NoteSmallsBirdland55 BarApollo TheatreFat Cat,Dizzy's Club (Lincoln Centre) and even a private event at the hallowed Village Vanguard. In the Lindy Hop scene, he regularly plays with Gordon Webster and is a favourite of our's from Blues Before Sunrise, Frankie Fest and various events for the Sydney swing community.

In 2014, Adrian became the leader of the saxophone section of the grammy-winning Vince Giordano and the Nighthawks. It's fabulous for him to be back on home soil putting the band together for our big weekend.

Georgia and the Sentimental Gentlemen

Georgia and the Sentimental Gentlemen are a Melbourne based swing band specialising in ‘40s style swinging jazz and blues. With separate experience playing in bands all around Melbourne, they premiered (as The Atomic C-bombs) to great success at the Melbourne Swing Festival in 2013. Since then, the band has played regularly for dancers in Melbourne and around the country. Lead by musicians and swing dance teachers Sean and Georgia, the band has a particular affinity for creating music for dancers and hopes to keep the dance floor pumping at The MSF Festival Club.
