Workshops - Sat & Sun March 8th to 9th 2008

Want to learn from some of the World’s leading swing instructors? Join Mattias & Hanna (Sweden) and Mike & Jojo (US) as they conduct two incredible days of workshops including THREE three different dance streams as follows:

Swing A – Featuring classes in Lindy Hop, Jazz and Charleston as well as fabulous ‘optional’ classes as a MSF first to give you more value for your dollar!

Swing B – Featuring classes in Lindy Hop, Jazz and Charleston as well as all the ‘optional’ classes.

For the Swing Dance Streams (A & B), you don’t need to worry about which stream you should be in as we do all the work for you. At registration, we will ask you a few questions about your dance experience and place you in the stream that is most appropriate for your current situation.

Furthermore, when you enroll for either Swing A or B… you can also enjoy any of the optional classes over the weekend.

Options Classes:
As an added bonus, we have ‘optional’ classes during the morning that are open to anyone. Choose to have a sleep in or join us in these FUN classes taught by teachers from all around the globe.

What’s the third stream of dancing?
Even more excitedly, as a MSF FIRST… We also have a PERFORMANCE & SHOW STREAM taught by Mattias & Hanna and Mike & Jojo.

Performance & Show:
Pitched towards Intermediate plus dancers only (you must have more than 2yrs solid dancing experience), enter with a ‘partner’ and spend two days learning two different routines. Mike & Jojo will teach a crazy Solo Charleston Routine and Mattias and Hanna will be teaching a kickin’ Lindy Hop routine. The pace of teaching FAST, the explanations minimal and the energy HIGH.

We won’t be rotating the dancers in these classes, so you do need a dedicated partner to join into this crazy stream. Make sure to get organized, find a buddy and then register for this one ASAP as we have to limit the Performance & Show stream to 30 couples. Better yet, the routines will be performed on sunday night of MSF at either the Blues Party. Please keep in mind that by enrolling in the P & S stream, you only do 6 classes over the weekend and are not entitled to jump into the Swing A or B classes (which are separate streams).

Please note that performance and show dancers will not be able to participate in the optional classes as these classes will run at the same time
